    Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Lunar May 5th Day, on which the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan in ancient China threw himself in Miluo River and gave his life for his country. In order to commemorate him, the May 5th in the lunar calendar becomes a traditional festival in memory of Qu Yuan over the past two thousand years. 
    The great man has gone, but his illustrious name will last forever. On this day we commemorate Qu Yuan, commemorate the spirit of being unstained from the filth, and the integrity of not drifting with the current. “The body may be broken, one would not change his original intention” -- such stirring and appealing patriotic sentiment is deeply touching the hardworking and kind Chinese nation, and is inspiring generations of Chinese people to hold fast to the dream of making China strong and prosperous.
